Ready to get started?
Everything you need to set up Clyffe: two things to have ready, a first session of about fifteen minutes, and one link that connects your team's computers. There is nothing to prepare. Finding what your business uses is Clyffe's job.

Approval to connect your workspace
Connecting Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 needs a nod from whoever administers it. In many small businesses that is already you. If it is someone else, have them handy for the third step, or send them this page.
Your first session
About fifteen minutes, start to finish.
- Go to app.clyffe.io and sign in with your work Google or Microsoft account.
- Confirm your business details.
- Connect your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. The connection is read-only: Clyffe can look, but can never change anything in your account.
- Answer a few quick questions while the first scan runs: what your business does, who looks after IT, who owns the computers. There are no wrong answers; they help Clyffe suit itself to you.
- Check what Clyffe found: how many people, administrators and apps it discovered, and whether that looks right. You can also invite anyone else who should have access.
That is the first session done. You will already see the apps in use across your business and who is using them.
The full picture
Then connect your team's computers.
Your workspace connection covers what happens inside your Google or Microsoft accounts. The complete picture, including every app in use and whether each computer is up to date and protected, comes from a small Clyffe program on each work computer. It sets up the Clyffe browser extension by itself, so there is nothing extra to install in anyone's browser.
For most businesses this is one link: your own setup page, created during your first session. Anyone who opens it on their work computer gets a download and about one minute of setup, once. It works on Windows and Mac. Prefer not to chase people? From the Devices page in Clyffe you can have it email each person their link instead.
The privacy line
Clyffe looks at the apps and services each computer uses for work, and whether the computer is up to date and protected.
It never looks at anyone's files, messages, or what they type.
The setup page says exactly this to every person before they install anything.
Centrally managed computers
Have an IT provider or Intune?
If your computers are managed for you, send this section to whoever looks after them. If it means nothing to you, skip it; the setup link above needs no IT knowledge at all.
For your tech person
If the fleet is managed with Microsoft Intune or similar, push the Clyffe agent out silently instead of using the self-serve link:
- Download the install package from Devices → Add devices in Clyffe. It contains the installer plus the setup file for the business.
- Windows deploys as an Intune Win32 app in System context. Use a greater-than-or-equal version detection rule, never equality: the agent self-updates ahead of Intune. macOS deploys via an Intune shell script.
- Drop the package's setup file at
C:\ProgramData\Clyffe\provisioning.json(Windows) or/Library/Application Support/Clyffe/provisioning.json(macOS) so every profile on the machine shares one setup. - No per-browser rollout is needed: after its first check-in the agent installs the Clyffe browser extension itself in Chrome, Edge and Brave.
